LINDY LEATHER: TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Lindy Leather. By accessing our website (lindyleather.com) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure you understand our process, our craft, and our commitment to quality.

1. THE LINDY STANDARD (PRODUCT DISCLOSURE)

We use 100% full-grain American cowhide. Because leather is a natural material, each piece is unique.

Natural Variations: Your item may feature "character marks," including small scars, creases, or variations in grain and color. These are not defects; they are proof of an authentic, non-corrected hide.
Color Accuracy: We strive to display product colors accurately, but due to different monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any color will be 100% accurate to the physical product.
The Break-In Period: Our overbuilt leather goods often start out stiff. Like a good pair of boots, they are designed to soften and "break in" over time with use.

2. PURCHASES & PAYMENT

Orders: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason.
Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
Payments: We use secure third-party payment processors. By providing a payment method, you represent that you are authorized to use that method.

3. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Lead Times: Many of our items are made-to-order or small-batch. Please allow the stated production time in the product description before your item ships.
Shipping Risk: Once an item leaves our Georgia workshop and is accepted by the carrier, the risk of loss and title for the item passes to you. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

4. CUSTOMIZATION & PERSONALIZATION

Final Sale: Any item that has been personalized (stamped with names, initials, or custom logos) is Final Sale. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on personalized goods unless there is a clear error on our part in the stamping process.
Accuracy: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all spelling and initials provided for personalization are correct at the time of order.

5. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Standard Items: Non-personalized items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in new, unused condition.
Condition: We reserve the right to refuse a return if the leather shows signs of wear, oiling, or damage caused by the customer.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site, including photography, logos, product names (e.g., "The Shell Bag"), and marketing copy, is the property of Lindy Leather and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use our branding for commercial purposes without express written consent.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Lindy Leather shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
